Jeremiah 11:1–23, the blunt in brutal truth: the people of God have broken the covenant, and are now going to suffer the consequences predicted by Moses long ago. Matthew 24:1–28, like Jeremiah before him, Jesus also predicts disaster on Jerusalem, and in particular on the temple. He also describes the nature of the final age of this earth.
