In this episode Dan and Chad unpack the reality that God originally gave humanity authority through communion with Him, to rule and reign over the earth. When humans sinned, we gave our authority to the enemy by agreeing with his lies.
Christ is the Last Adam who walked in perfect communion with and obedience to the Father. This is why Jesus' whole ministry was one long confrontation with the "ruler of the kingdom of the air...the spirit at work in those disobedient." Jesus won back our true identity as sons and daughters who are meant to walk in kingdom authority or the powers and plans of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy.
