How I Would Have Written Aquaman
Arthur Curry is the son of the Queen of Atlantis and a human who was trained by Vulko since youth to use his superhuman abilities. He now saves people from pirates and the ocean. When Mera asks him to stop his brother Orm from waging war on the surface, he reluctantly agrees to take the journey with Mera to retrieve Poseidon's trident, originally given to Atlan by Poseidon himself. His former pirate enemy becomes Black Manta with Ocean Master's help and attacks him during his quest. However, Aquaman is still able to retrieve the Trident and defeats Ocean Master. This keeps him from uniting Atlantis to fight the surface, and Arthur Curry becomes King of Atlantis.
End credits: Vulko finishes telling Arthur the story of why Atlantis must defend the motherbox and introduces it to him.
