Description

Do you run away from adversity or do you run towards it?  Do you shy away from challenge or do you welcome it with open arms?

These questions can help us understand how we view the challenges in our lives.  In other words, do we view them as hurdles and obstacles that stress us out or, do we view them as opportunities to grow?

When we let challenges stress us out, they drain us.  Focusing on negativity (the non-serving) wears on us and brings us down, leaving us feeling tapped out at the end of the day.  However, when we view challenges as opportunities, we are actually lifted up - we have a new target to hit, a goal to achieve, an opportunity to get better, and a chance to learn something new.  This naturally lifts us up and leaves us feeling excited, engaged, and accomplished.  It's a complete 180 from how we feel when we let challenges bring us down.
