City Year is a national service program through AmeriCorps that allows young people to work in local schools and make a difference in students’ lives. Two guests from City Year Buffalo, Jeanmarie Cieslica, Executive Director and Managing Director, as well as Amelia Heiselman, a recruiter for City Year, join host Sarah Wooton to give a run-down on what City Year is, how the program works locally, and how anyone ages 18-25 with a high school degree can apply.
