The Just Buffalo Writing Center is a creative space where young writers aged 12-18 are welcomed for free writing workshops, literary events, and individualized assistance with writing projects. In April 2023, they collaborated by Ujima Theater's Dunbar Youth Theatre Arts Program on "The Ground Beneath Our Feet," a digital collection of poems on climate justice by young writers. Guests Robin Jordan, Director of Just Buffalo's Writing Center, and two young poets and Just Buffalo Youth Ambassadors, Theo Bellavia-Frank and Kiera Van Der Beck who provide an overview of the Writing Center, "The Ground Beneath Our Feet," and expression through poetry.
