In this episode, I speak to local lass Gillian, an RVN who works in a local independent small animal practice and excels in 'Confidence Clinics'.
Gillian qualified as an RVN from SRUC Barony in 2018, following the HND route of study. She works in an independent first opinion small animal practice in Central Scotland.
Before becoming an RVN Gillian studied HNC and HND Animal Care at SRUC Oatridge, leading to a job as a Canine Carer at Dogs Trust Glasgow for 18 months. Gillian took a break from working with animals for a couple of years and worked at a local optician prior to and during her RVN studies.
Gillian has grown up owning English Cocker Spaniels – so has more of a bias towards canine patients! She is currently owned by a little Sphynx cat called Bluebell, who has certainly kept her on her toes and helped with learning more about feline behaviour!
