In this episode, "A powerful God is calling your name", we read Psalm 104:1-5 and take a moment to marvel at how truly amazing and powerful God is. In this, we see that He has created you with an intent, purpose and an identity for you that is found in Him.
Psalm 104:1-5
My soul, bless the Lord!
Lord my God, you are very great;
you are clothed with majesty and splendor.
He wraps himself in light as if it were a robe,
spreading out the sky like a canopy,
laying the beams of his palace
on the waters above,
making the clouds his chariot,
walking on the wings of the wind,
and making the winds his messengers,
flames of fire his servants.
He established the earth on its foundations;
it will never be shaken.
Questions to ponder:
When you think of God, is He someone that you think of fondly? Or is He scary? Why or why not?
What would it mean to you that God cares about you to such an extent, that He has plans for your life and wants to give you an identity?
What does it mean to take identity as a son or daughter of God?
Prayer:
God, I choose to give you the identity that I, or people have given me. I want to know Your plan for my life and to walk in it. I desire to know You on a deep level and I want to know the identity that You have in mind for me. If I was created for a purpose, I want to follow You to it.
There will be breakthrough!
