Leaving a legacy of creativity and love are very vivid in my memory, this is the reason I have created this series The Chronicles of Carmela, there are so many memories that I remember today that are alive and the feeling of each of them is so vivid, and tangible.
I want to share it with you, I will be sharing moments, recipes, occasions, festas, a part of my life that are the foundations of Carmela's Cucina Class today.
The recipes I share with my students and clients are centuries old, from my families chronicles and very much part of my Sicilian legacy that I have inherited.
Hazelnuts remind me of a moment with my mother Sarina that I shared as a child with my brother Joe (Giuseppe).
This is a photo of my mother Sarina (Rosaria) my father Salvatore (Sam) I am about 3 1/2 years old.
My granddaughter Fallon looks like me now she is around 5.
