So many have hidden treasures in their soul. Many of us children of migrants have been stunted from speaking our dialect because we have been shamed or ridiculed by others. We should not be ashamed of what we carry inside of us, Sicilian, Calabrese etc, it is a treasure one that must be shared with others, no one wants it to become extinct, if we don’t share it or speak 🗣 it, we have lost this precious language that is centuries years old.
