It’s AAPI month and I’ve finally gotten around to watching The Joy Luck Club. And I sobbed. I wanted to talk about my own thoughts on the movie and how and why I personally connected with it. I also watched the Amy Tan (the writer of the novel the movie is based on) documentary that is available on Netflix! Please check them both out. This is sort of a more rambly not planned out episode so please bare with me, but I hope you enjoy it!
