Part 2 - Ian continues with a great conversation about Powering Africa with Globeleq.
Ian Coxon and I worked together at QGC, and we have stayed in contact for a number of years. If there was going to be a challenging market it would be Africa, many countries within this massive continent, varying political climates, not a great connectivity to trade energy and it so it goes on however it is emerging rapidly and Globeleq is one to learn from and how they are very successful in their growth of powering Africa.
Ian Coxon is the Chief Financial Officer for Globeleq and leads the Finance team for all Globeleq and its entities. He has worked in the energy industry for more than 20 years, leading finance teams in North and South America, Europe, Australia and North Africa.
He has experience across the full development cycle, from development and major capital projects through to operations working in a range of joint venture and other commercial arrangements. Prior to his current role at Globeleq, Ian has held senior finance roles at companies including the BG Group and Royal Dutch Shell.
