Philosophical advice

• Relax
• The truth is that in the age of online play, speech is even cheaper. Make your words count
• Cultivate a desire to understand others (intent)

Listen more, speak less

• This might be really hard if you’re DMing. Hard but not impossible
• Another way to say this is ‘Don’t over-explain.’
• Speak more concisely
• Use clear speech and vocabulary that your players can easily understand
• I’ve learned this one from teaching online for the past couple of years
