What is an audience and a network

Connection of many people, who have a common interest or goal - or many goals

Where does your tribe live? (Social platform, their interests)

Identification:

Build word bank that you want to be associated with

- Follow on instagram

- Join groups on LinkedIn + Facebook

Why matters: Don't do it now, you are missing out on opportunity to be an early adopter/active member

Assume with Leverage (50%)

- Speaking gigs

- Job opportunities

- Client connection

- Events/networking

- Alliances with other podcasts and thought leaders

But Actually (50%)

- Have group of like-interested people who you can use as soundboard

- Community for accountability, trust and growth

How to build:

- interaction

- showcasing knowledge

- Answering questions

- Individual interactions

eg: Directing people back to your show and why - keep refining over time

Platform building:

- Linkedin

- Twitter

- Instagram

- Audio: Podcast

- Pinterest (cooking and imagery)
