Meet Candice Price!

Candice Price, a devoted mother and passionate entrepreneur, has made her mark in Omaha's business community as a prominent figure. Her journey from South Florida to Omaha in 2009 is a remarkable story of dedication to personal growth and community economic development.

As the owner of Home Team Auto Sales and Sapphire Grill, members of the Greater Omaha Chamber, Candice has expanded her business portfolio to include HT Towing & Repair, a for-hire auto carrier aiding other automotive dealers. Notably, she is the only African-American woman licensed auto dealer in Nebraska and the first person of color to serve on the state's Independent Auto Dealers Association Board of Directors.

Candice is not only a business powerhouse but also a licensed broker in Nebraska, an independent adjuster licensed in six states, and a notary public commissioned in both Nebraska and Iowa.

Beyond her professional qualifications, Candice is deeply engaged in community leadership. She holds leadership roles in organizations like the New Leaders Council, Leadership Omaha – Class 43, and the Economic Development Committee of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Her dedication has been recognized with awards such as the 2020 Community Commitment Award, the 2021 Midlands Business Journal 40 under 40 award, the 2023 "Can Do More Here" award, and induction into the General Crook House Museum.

Candice's commitment to advocacy and community development is reflected in her board memberships with organizations like Omaha 100, Family Housing Advisory Services (where she serves as Vice-President), Mildred D. Brown Memorial Study Center, No More Empty Pots Advisory, and the Nebraska Independent Automobile Dealers Association Board of Directors.

Her advocacy journey includes roles as the Executive Director of the Grow Nebraska Women's Business Center and a board member of the Omaha Municipal Land Bank. Currently, she is a member of Nebraska Diplomats, the Aksarben Foundation Floor Committee, the Leadership Omaha Curriculum Committee, and the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association Awards Committee.

With her diverse experiences, Candice is a sought-after speaker and facilitator, sharing her expertise on entrepreneurship, diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as community development.

Candice began her career at Union Pacific Railroad, managing a $50M book of business, and holds a BA in Multidisciplinary Studies from the University of Oklahoma, where she also held numerous leadership roles during her collegiate years.

Her philosophy centers on fostering black-owned and woman-owned businesses, both locally and globally, driven by the belief that "Together Everyone Achieves More."
