Stephany shares her heart discussing things she went through in her initial pursuit to obeying God consistently and being committed to her walk with Christ. Many people may feel overwhelmed at times because they are unsure of how things will turn out. Obedience is literally is a necessity for this journey with Christ. You will have to obey the commands and obey all that God has instructed us to do. Obedience is your protection and it brings security in knowing that you are forever covered when you obey. Sometimes we enjoy the choices we make temporarily, but we are exposed to warfare and plots of the enemy when we disobey God. Secure is defined as freedom from danger, risk, etc.; safety. 2. freedom from care, anxiety, or doubt. 3. something that protects or makes safe; defense.” No one can live on the cusp of danger. The Hebrew terms provide something firm or solid to depend upon. It gives the idea of confidence. Another (like the verse in Ruth, above) means rest, undisturbed by threats, harm, or want. Another word means refuge or protection. When we walk in obedience we are free from doubt, fear and anxiety. We receive love, grace, protection, abundance, peace, joy, confidence, and purpose! You are safe when you Obey God! He will protect and keep you! This episode is to encourage those to walk in obedience and to never allow anyone to turn you away from your decision to walk the path God has chosen for you!
