DISCLAIMER: THIS IS ALL BROSCIENCE.
The same way we set goals in fitness, is the same way we can set financial goals. When goal setting, it is important to understand what those goals look like. Setting a goal like “repping 225 on bench” sound great, but If that is the goal, it will take a lot of discipline to avoid hight calorie foods to prevent getting fat. Setting a financial goal of “making 60k/year” sounds good on paper when you have never made any money, if there is minimal financial discipline, the probability of living paycheck to paycheck is high.
Understanding our goals, and motives can bring a better understanding of what is required of from us in order to achieve it.
