Commandments are boundaries from God for us to create a safe space to be in relationships with others. Keeping the commandments to me means having healthy relationships with others. In relationships we can grow, develop, and find happiness. The natural man is the negative fearful part inside of us. The Holy Spirit is the fearless love we have inside. When I do things out of love they are from God, when I do things out of fear, it’s not usually very loving.
