Jesus offers one of his most difficult teachings in his first “I Am” statement, “I am the bread of life. You must eat my flesh and drink my blood.” Sometimes Jesus is confusing and offensive. A lot of his followers turn away from here, but a select few remain. They dive deeper, accepting the invitation to the table. “This is my body. This is my blood. Take.
