On the First Sunday of Advent, we are beginning a new sermon series entitled, “Preparing for Christmas” as we look at the life and ministry of John the Baptist. My hope is that through this series, with the help of John the Baptist, we will be able to prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ at Christmas and for his second coming. Our series begins with the foretelling of John’s birth in his Annunciation. Associated Scripture: Luke 1:5-17
