Many people believe that Jesus was a prophet, a great preacher, a moral teacher, and a religious reformer. Most people can agree that Jesus was a real, historical person. But as Christians, we believe that Jesus is not only fully human, but Jesus is also fully divine. In our series “We Believe,” we are looking at the basic tenants of our faith as we explore the Apostle’s Creed. We continue with our second statement of faith: “I believe in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord.” Associated Scriptures: Isaiah 53:1-5 and Colossians 1:15-17.
