Dr. Lauren Rhodes, Senior Associate AD, Student-Athlete Performance, Health and Welfare, SWA, joins host Brian Tripp to discuss her career, the evolution of intercollegiate athletics, and Penn State's diversity and inclusion efforts. Dr. Rhodes joined Penn State in August 2021 and oversees ICA’s sport performance unit, which includes applied health and performance science, medical services, athletic training, performance enhancement, performance nutrition, performance psychology, and student-athlete welfare and development. Rhodes additionally has sport administration responsibilities, and leads ICA’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.
