Description

After Trump was removed from Colorado’s ballot last month, Maine quickly followed suit; only now, Trump is fighting back and making an appeal to get his name back on 2024’s primary ballot. Maine’s secretary of state Shenna Bellows barred Trump from running in the state, citing Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, or the insurrection clause, for his role in the January 6th attack on the Capitol. Trump’s appeal, however, could put a stopper to her efforts. But even if it doesn’t, who knows what barring him from the ballot will do?
