Several different generations in the Old Testament made the mistake of forgetting who God was and what he had done for them. This often led to destruction and despair for the people. The Bible continues to remind me over and over to always look back and reflect on where God has brought me from and what he has done for me, my family, and the community of people he has surrounded me with.
