Description

Alex is a licensed architect in the State of Ohio with experiences in retail, mixed use, higher education, and single family projects. She has taught courses at Rice University during her tenure as a graduate student, and she continues to teach at The Ohio State University's Knowlton School. Her research focuses on the intersection of form, food, and franchisement. Occasionally, she reports to the New York Review of Architecture's Skyline section regarding events of national and global import.  Alex actively engages in workshops for the Architecture Lobby's ABC School as well, taking on roles such as participant, organizer, and facilitator. She also serves on the AIA Ohio Board as the Senior Early Professional Director, furthering her commitment to non-profit service.
