On this weeks episode, I am so excited to welcome Mary-Margaret Zindren to Nearly One-Fourth.
For more than 20 years, Mary-Margaret Zindren, CAE, has worked to further equity, diversity, and inclusion in city government, the law, the profession of architecture, and the built environment. Since 2015, she has held the position of EVP/Executive Director of the American Institute of Architects (AIA Minnesota, AIA Minneapolis, AIA St. Paul, and AIA Northern Minnesota, and the Minnesota Architectural Foundation.
Mary-Margaret is a frequent speaker and panelist on organizational leadership, gender equity, and racial justice, and was a convening speaker for the AIA National Women’s Leadership Summit in 2019.
Previously, she served as the executive director of the Hennepin County Bar Association and Hennepin County Bar Foundation, as director of Communications and Strategic Initiatives at the League of Minnesota Cities, and as Legislative Counsel at the National League of Cities in Washington, D.C.
