Exodus 3:11 - 4:31

God's plans fulfill His purposes.

1. Clearly displayed in the call of Moses. (3:7-10)
2. God has plans for us to serve and glorify Him. (Psalm 138:8; Isaiah 1:5, 29:11; John 15:16; Ephesians 2:10)

God’s plans use but are not dependant on His servants.

God confirms His plans.

1. God confirms His plans to His servants. (3:10-22; Deuteronomy 8:17-18; 2 Samuel 7:25-26; Psalm 90:16-17; Mark 16:20; Hebrews 2:3-4;Isaiah 44:26)
2. God confirms His plans to others. (4:29-31; see also John 4:45-48; 6:44; Acts 3:16; Philippians 3:29)

God’s plans demand His servants obedience.

1. God demanded Moses’ obedience. (3:10-22; 4:1-17)
2. God demands our obedience. (see Psalm 128:1; Matthew 21:28-31; John 13:17; 15:15, 21; 1 John 2:3; 5:3)
