Probably the most infamous case to come out of the Cecil Hotel is that of Elisa Lam. She had been missing for three weeks when her body was found inside of a water tank on the roof of the hotel. This was ten years ago, but the mystery remains. Was Elisa Lam murdered? Did ghosts or paranormal activity in the hotel have anything to do with this? Was it a ritualistic elevator game gone wrong? Or was this a result of mental illness?
