1) The Youth Ministry had an Advent Jr & Sr night. It involved four parts: 1) eating (yes, always!); 2) Lectio on Luke ch 16; 3) Praise and Worship; 4) Wrapping a member of their table up in some figure or person – crazy … yes, but they had fun!; 5) making Christmas Cards for the Seniors.
About 50 kids were present ranging from Gr 7 though to University. It was amazing! Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun!
2) Sunday After Mass Social – going the extra mile and doing some new thing during Advent. They are very well attended and yet still more parishioners can benefit from dropping by and being with family and meeting others. Shout out to Mary, Melisa and their team
These past 3 Sunday – as an Advent feature - they have had a special areas for crafts for the children. It has been a big hit.
Saturday the CWL of this parish sponsored an Advent ½ day of recollection.
