Episode Summary:
We've been focusing on Christ specifically but in a different way, since it is the season of Easter, it's the season of Lent, it's the season of spring and rebirth and resurrection. We wanted to make sure that we really dove into the scriptures in a different way in the story and the important pieces of what happened. And so today we're talking about an interesting part of it, the betrayal. What does betrayal look like? What did it look like for Him in His life? And what does that look like for us in our life?
Key Points Covered:
Trust in the LORD
Betrayal isn’t an excuse to take revenge or to remain broken from the pain, it is understanding God is going to work this for my good
Betrayal is painful but with God we can overcome the situation
It becometh us, this is what we're called to do in order to become who we've been called to do, to be and to do all that God will be pleased with we've got to allow certain things
Can you love someone without trusting them? A hundred percent because that is what Christ did. That is the story of the betrayal. He loved and loved deeply. He loved many people who betrayed him through this journey.
