Before heading into an interview take a deep breath leave all your baggage in your car, along with your phone. Remember that you don’t want to word vomit. I had an interview this last week and I got word vomit all over me! It’s hard to see through all the vomit on your glasses (ok that's too much of a visual, sorry!) but really, it is hard to see the good qualities in a candidate when all that is said is like WHATTT did you say…..
In this episode, we talk about how you can take some negatives that you're working through in your life whether it be personally or professionally and create it into something positive!
Listen in on how John (an interviewee) gave a rather bad answer, but how it can be twisted into something positive and make it work for you!
Folks, the moral of the story here is you’ve got to be prepared before heading into an interview. Look up interview questions and put yourself in the interviewer's position, what answer would you want to hear? Remain calm and level headed, and you’ll succeed.
I’d also like to mention that.... (I'm hesitant (but happy) to even say this...) I'm offering my Career Elevation Course for $49 if you prepay. The course will be released on November 15th, and the price will never ever be $49 again. In this course, you will learn how to set yourself aside from the other resumes, update your references, cover letter, help with interview questions and even what you should wear to an interview. Complete with Amazon links to buy some of the clothing, seriously, there isn't a course out there this complete, get in line now!
I’ll see you next week when we talk about change. If you refuse change it will leave you in chains. I’d like to help bust you out of those chains and stop saying “That’s the way we’ve always done it”. I’ll meet you back here next Monday, see you soon!
