Are You Valiant For The Truth?

I have been in the book of Jeremiah and a verse in Chapter 9 stuck out to me, "And like their bow they have bent their tongues for lies. They are not valiant for the truth on the earth. For they proceed from evil to evil, And they do not know Me," says the LORD.

What does Valiant mean?

It means strong and intrepid: powerful and courageous

Intrepid means unshaken in the presence of danger: dauntless not agitated

Are you strong in the truth no matter the perceived danger? Have you had times when you denied the truth in the context of your life and you paid the consequences for it?
