We have been talking about God's will this week and it just occurred to me that I should break down what a Will is and how that impacts us discerning God's will.
Will: The power of conscious, deliberate action; the faculty by which the relational mind makes choice of its ends of action, and directs the energies in carrying out its determinations. 3: strong determination: practical enthusiasm; energy of character.
Wise: Seeing clearly what is right and just: having sound judgement concerning ones highest interests and in ones own conduct choosing the best end and the best means for reaching that end.
