The Black Gay Agenda is a show where we come together and speak on our experiences as individuals apart of the gay black community. The goal is to share, listen and ask questions in hopes to learn, debunk stereotypes, and challenge thoughts while also creating a safe space within community for community.
In the debut episode, Micah, Justin, Alex and Rian-Louis discuss, "The Masc vs. Fem Agenda,". We initiate a thought-provoking discussion surrounding the dynamics of masculinity and femininity within the Black gay community.
They aim to challenge stereotypes, break down societal barriers, and foster a greater understanding of the complex intersectionalities within the Black gay experience. Our hosts delve into the ways in which masculine and feminine qualities are perceived, celebrated, and sometimes marginalized within the community, and how these perceptions affect individuals' self-expression, relationships, and overall well-being.
