Most of us are uncomfortable with our emotions. We see them as being soft, fluffy, or scary and overwhelming. We worry we will be sucked in to them and not be able to get things done. We don’t want to feel like they are running our lives and they can definitely be intense. Today I talk about what emotions really are and what they’re not, how they can help us understand ourselves and others better, and what benefits are possible if you embrace the work of befriending your emotions.
