An overriding emphasis of the Bible, inspired by the Holy Spirit through the mouths of the Prophets, the letters of the Apostles, and their preaching, is the importance of and the need for Standing Firm in all types of situations,
demonstrating and developing faith. For many of them, it was the very real
threat of persecution, prison & possibly death.
Jesus speaks to us, warning that storms, and gales, will blow.

Jesus speaks to us, warning that storms, and gales, will blow. You and I will with the help of the Holy Spirit build a FIRM faith (step by step,
day by day, action by action, response by response), which will stand the test
of time and which will weather the storms of life. Those winds of adversity will blow across our lives and unless we determine to stand firm if we don’t stand firm, we won’t stand at all.
