In this episode, I chat with Assistant Professor of Music in Music Theory Amy Tai from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Her research explores the relationship between dance and Western art music, focusing on how ballet and modern dance offer new insights into musical interpretation. She has presented her work at international conferences, including the Society for Music Theory and the Royal Music Association. Professor Tai has also received awards such as the Royal Music Association Small Research Grant and the Society for Music Theory Minority Travel Grant.
