In this episode, I chat with Dr. Coco Leung. Dr. Leung, who is a Canadian-born pianist, made her orchestral debut at the age of twelve with the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra. A prize-winning musician, she has garnered top honors in international competitions, including the 2013 Wildflower International Recording Competition and the Canadian Music Competition. She has performed across North America, including a solo recital at Carnegie Hall in 2019, and has been featured on national media outlets such as CBC Radio and Rogers TV. Dr. Leung holds advanced degrees from Manhattan School of Music, where she also served as a Doctoral Teaching Fellow and department coordinator. Alongside her performance career, she is a dedicated educator, maintaining a private studio and serving as a consultant for music college admissions.
