In this episode, I chat with Professor Marti Epstein. Professor Marti Epstein is a renowned composer and educator whose music has been performed by leading ensembles worldwide. She studied composition at the University of Colorado and Boston University, working with distinguished mentors like Cecil Effinger and Bernard Rands. Professor Epstein has received numerous commissions, including from the Fromm Foundation and the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra of Boston, and her work has been featured in international venues such as the Munich Biennale. A 2020 Guggenheim (goo-gen-hime) Fellow, she teaches composition at Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory.
