Marisa Allen is a Certified Franchise Executive with over 25 years of business experience in franchising and a business executive/entrepreneur with different global business and franchise concepts. Marisa has an extensive background in management, sales, marketing, business development and virtually every aspect of operations.
Marisa’s initial franchise experience started with her owning and operating The Body Shop franchise immediately after graduating from Ryerson University having completed her studies in Business Management. From there, Marisa launched a home-based gift shop and basket business, On Occasion Gifts, shortly after her daughter was born and grew it from a concept into a million dollar business in the early ’90’s! Utilizing her experience, Marisa has worked with a diverse group of franchisors at a senior level to manage the support and growth of the franchisees. Today she works together with budding entrepreneurs to choose the perfect match among the thousands of franchises available. Her patience and insight are welcoming qualities to sometimes understandably anxious individuals venturing out into the world of self-employment. Marisa is a graduate of Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada where she lives with her husband and their dog and cat. They lead an active lifestyle that includes travel, entertaining and family.
