I interviewed Kevin O'Connor. He is the author of Two Floors above Grief. His career spans over fifty years as a writer, teacher, principal, curriculum designer, and university instructor. He authors content and provides training in mathematics instruction, principal leadership, support for substitute teachers, LGBTQ advocacy, Sexual Health/Family Life, self-publishing, and marketing. He sings and performs in theaters.
Kevin is active with SMART Ride, a bicycling group that raises funds for HIV awareness, treatment, and education. He resides in Ft. Lauderdale with his husband, Leon. The content and stories in the letters in the book Two Floors Above Grief reveal family relationships and connections and provide a sense of continuity. Kevin offers ways for people to organize the letters of their friends and family. When letters are arranged in ways such as sequence, themes, or characters, the family history is enhanced and preserved for future generations. These letters enrich the family genealogy.
I strongly encourage everyone to follow him and be transformed by his insights.
Everyone has a story, and this is his story.
