I interviewed Negin Shiraghaei, Negin Shiraghaei Kootenaei is an Iranian activist, entrepreneur and a former news presenter and journalist for BBC World Service's based in London. Negin has been in media for two decades and has worked on all different types and roles, from print and online journalism to TV and Radio. She spent the last decade of her career as a journalist working for BBC Persian TV and Radio and specializes in the Middle East and Central Asia affairs
As an advocate for human rights, Negin has spoken at the UN Human Rights Council on two different occasions on the impact of online harassment on female journalists while also campaign on women's rights. She's the Co-founder of March Health, and a podcaster. Negin is passionate about advocating about human rights, equality, and diversity, and is building a new vision for the future of communication. Her vision for the future of communication would actively engage thought leaders, companies as well as governmental and non-governmental players around the globe. She is creating the next-generation broadcasting and conferencing capabilities that fit the purpose of the new world's challenges.
Her company March Health is an AI-powered women's health assistant that is designed to make the menstruation easier by giving total relief from period discomforts by tracking the woman's period, ovulation, and their symptoms; and mutes their pain with wearable. Their focus is on increasing the quality of women’s life, and to educate and enable every single woman and girl across the globe to take full care of their health.
