This pilot episode introduces myself, this podcast series, and provides an overview of what I hope to learn and share with you all. The name was inspired by my mother who would yell "Belarusian Thunder" as loud as she could whenever I would compete in my sport competitions. I was born in Minsk, Belarus, adopted at 16 months old, which is how I was quickly nicknamed "Belarusian Thunder" by my family members. As for the series, I hope you all are as entertained and educated as I am by the end of each episode. To my guests, thank you all for giving me the opportunity to sit down with you and learn a little more each day.
