How has focusing on others cost you your peace?
In this episode, we talk to Kevin Guest. He describes himself as values-based, doing his best, and living with integrity. Kevin lives in the United States.
Kevin tells us about sitting on multiple commas as a result of fears boosted by codependence. Over time, Kevin has lived with being the peace keeper, to people pleasing, to panic attacks. When looking back on his family, his musical performances and his work roles, her recognizes that many of his anxieties and actions were driven by survival-based fears. With practice and hard work, he began training himself to reflect on his intentions and let go of the need to control the outcomes for other people. Ultimately, he was able to reclaim the peace that he sought since childhood. Tune in to hear what Kevin means when he says, “how empty of you to be so full of her”.
