Kate tells us about sitting on a comma with championing a cause. Having chosen a vegan lifestyle out of compassion for animals, Kate found herself struggling between cycles of self-censorship and activism. While her position and choice were steadfast, she struggled with how to express herself in ways that didn’t create conflict. After losing her mother and role model, Kate found herself leading with compassion over confrontation. Tune in to hear what Kate means when she says “I was expecting them to meet me where I was”.
