In this episode, our guest shares about her experience with domestic abuse. If this is a sensitive topic for you, please consider this before listening.
In this episode, we talk to Emily Horwood. She is a mom, caregiver, connector and a recluse. She also greatly values her return to sobriety as a major part of her life! Emily lives in Hertfordshire, UK.
Emily finds herself sitting on a comma in relationships. We first hear her share about her painful experiences with seeking identity and meaning in her partnerships. Emily spent a good part of her life pursuing a dream from her childhood. She shares raw and heartbreaking moments of feeling that she was completely out of options. And in each of those moments, she found connection - first with others, then with herself. Tune in to hear what Emily’s journey has taught her and where she found the identity she was seeking.
