This week we welcome Josh Gibbs to the podcast. Josh graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc in Biomedical Sciences and an MA in Social Science Research. He is now working towards a PhD on plant-based diets and green recovery.
He has shown through his research that plant-based diets could lower blood pressure and that replacing meat with plant-based meat alternatives could reduce heart attack risk by lowering LDL cholesterol. His latest research is looking at the links between the consumption of plant-based meat alternatives and psychological well-being.
