We do what we can - we work on getting all Philly sports discussed on this pod! For once we didn't have much to talk about on the Eagles side of things.
We hop into the Sixers - who did just pick (last night!) VJ Edgecombe from Baylor with the third pick. We recorded this the night before and Mike muses on potential fits, all while diagnosing some basement moisture in a ghost-filled house.
We simply HAD to hop into the Phillies right after that - and we find ourselves in the middle of an awful slump in Houston all of a sudden! 19 innings with ZERO RUNS. You read that right. Get that ship RIGHTED BOYS! After the Houston series, off to Atlanta where it's bound to be a heavyweight battle, no matter what the standings are.
Lastly - and certainly most importantly - we tackle the Trevor Zegras trade. While some sports podcasts will talk about his offensive and goal scoring skills, and his tight friendship with Jamie Drysdale....we instead focus on "what will Trevor's hockey nickname be"? Zegs? Gras-ie? Trevy? Let's wait til Tocchet's next presser to get confirmation.
