The movie was released on Friday the 13th 2007 July and had budget of 17 million dollars and made 10 million at the box office. The movie was most notable for its billboards. The billboard was a four panel image saying Abduction,Confinement,Torture,Termination. It recived complaints from people in the Los Angles area after being removed they put a message saying "Captivity was here"
