Are we missing the point with Psychedelic Pharmaceuticals?
In this episode I’m exploring 3 critical missteps. In a society eager for the next magical solution, the tantalizing prospect of harnessing the therapeutic potential of psychedelics through pharmaceuticals has taken center stage. But, are we really on the right track? Let's delve into three reasons why I believe we should reconsider the fusion of pharmacology and psychedelics.
Reason one: Does the absence of hallucinations mean the absence of true healing?
Reason two: Spiritual Catharsis is at the heart of lasting change. Does stripping psychedelics of that power mean that we are also reducing the healing potential?
Lastly, I challenge the notion that symptomatic treatment leads to systemic transformation. Can quick fixes genuinely spark the profound healing we seek?
